1920s Wall Art Prints
from Moment Wall Art
The 1920s is where abstraction stopped being an experiment and became a way of working. Kandinsky was at the Bauhaus by then, building pictures out of circles and lines with the same seriousness he had once given landscapes, and the prints here from those years show it.
Around them is what else the decade was doing: Paul Fischer’s flower sellers in Copenhagen, Thomas Mackenzie’s book illustration, and a run of German and Austrian work from the same handful of years.
Every print is made when it is ordered and posted from the UK, as an unframed poster, a framed print or a canvas.
